We have been working with Flight Deck Strategic Solutions, led by CEO and Founder Captain Harriett Pound, to deliver a series of leadership webinars for our mid- to senior-career members at ACCA. The sessions have been consistently excellent, engaging and insightful. Harriett is a natural presenter who captivates the audience throughout, delivering content that is both interactive and informative. Members consistently leave with clear, practical takeaways they can apply directly in their roles. The sessions have explored key themes such as psychological safety, leadership development, and decision-making under pressure, all of which have been instrumental in strengthening both individual capability and broader leadership practice.
A particularly valuable aspect of the programme has been the use of aviation leadership principles. Drawing on the high-stakes, safety-critical environment of aviation, these principles translate powerfully into a business context, helping leaders to improve focus, communication, and decision-making when it matters most. They also provide compelling real-life case studies from the aviation industry that connect directly to business settings in ways we have not seen before.
As a result of the success of these initial webinars, we have since expanded our partnership with Flight Deck Strategic Solutions into additional leadership focused resources for our members. On a personal level, I have also found Harriett to bring real energy and clarity to every meeting and event, and she is a genuine pleasure to work with.
